Happy Dog Days of Summer,

We had a great month of May although we didn’t dance around the May pole. I guess I am getting too old to do things like that, but it was fun back in the old days.

My position at the Community Media Access Channel 13 has kept me real busy. We are trying to raise money to get the station out of the dump we are in and into a respectable place so we can produce an enjoyable program for our audience. If any of you would like to become a “Friend of Access13” give me a call or email me to get more information.

Don’t forget that we will be at the Raven Café on the 5^th of June for another night of fun and friendship.

Ahh - Haa,

We Really, Really had a great time at the Good Sam Rally at the Phoenix International Raceway. There were more than 3400 Rv’s full of attendees in the parking lot and that was in addition to all the RV dealers and their For Sale RV’s. We played on Thursday and Saturday afternoon.

Well we are back to reality now and ready for our monthly show at the Raven Café in downtown Prescott. We will again have the three young Fiddlers with us, so plan on attending another great showdown of the Fiddlers.  

After that we are ready to go to Turkey TX for the Bob Wills days the last week of April.

Hello to all you music lovers,

          This is the month that we get to sing some of the old Christmas songs, HUH Ken. No Ken loves to sing Christmas songs, he just don’t want to sing them all year long.

          The Prescott Playboys will be playing Acker Night at the Cortez St. Emporium on the 9^th of December, so come downtown and enjoy some of the best music for the holidays. Acker Night is to raise money for young musician scholarships. 

          Don’t forget to join us at the Raven on the 20^th for an evening of good country/western swing music.

          Jim and Diana Gamble, Caryl and I did go to Yuma to visit Hap and Judy Joplin and did we have a great time. Too bad Ron and Jay chickened out. It’s always good to get together and play music with friends.

          I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
